eBay Introduces New Way to Browse and Buy

The ability to browse, shop, and track purchases online is probably one of the best things ever invented and grew dramatically since its conception in the late 90s to now. However, the fact that now, we as consumers, can easily become sellers online with the tap of a few keys and upload of pictures from our phones is just as fascinating.

eBay was the first online place where you could shop and sell on one site. So, its only fitting that they are continuing their efforts to keep the core plan intact, but grow on it, too. Thanks to the abundance of online shopping and bloggers and online tastemakers, eBay introduces a set of new features that make browsing and buying on eBay more personalized and inspiring. eBay also announces the expansion of eBay Now, its local same-day delivery service, to 25 markets in 2014, and a new strategic partnership with Shutl, a global network of couriers.

Watch the videos above and below to find out more about the latest browsing and shopping endeavors by eBay, including the new collections and curators, such as Solange and Pharell Williams.

iHate My Phone

So, back in January (I believe) my sister asked if I wanted to go to one of her first prenatal dr. appointments. The happy first-time aunt that I am, jumped at the opp and said “YEAH!!”. So, the morning of, I was on my way there with a cup of coffee and Blackberry in their appointed compartments in my car and as I was reaching for my phone to get directions, SOME HOW, the phone lifted the coffee lid and my phone slid out of my hand and right into the coffee…all at once. To this day, I still don’t know how that happened!!

Anyway, I missed the appointment, because I didn’t know the directions and barely can remember my phone number let alone anyone else’s, including my sister’s to let her know what happened. Oh, not to mention, that as I was trying to wipe and dry my phone, I “bumped” into someone’s car. Luckily, the lady was nice and let it slide since there was no damage.

Back to the story. So, I was forced to buy a new phone at the last minute before I headed to work. I was in a rush and just settled on T-Mobile’s myTouch 4G. I grew to hate the phone over a 2 month span. I hate it so much, I wanted my Blackberry back. Sure, it’s an android and has a crap load of games and blah, blah, blah. Whatever. I still don’t like it.

Well, now, I want an iPhone. I will admit that iPhones are pretty amazing. However, do you know what’s more amazing than the iPhone, itself? The plethora of amazing iPhone cases. Seriously, there are some that make you want to get an iPhone JUST so you can have a cool case. Getting “Carded” Just Got Easier

Do you have that one friend or family member that ALWAYS sends you a greeting card for any occasion and not just any card, but a thoughtfully selected and presented one? Well, I’m that friend and family member. I love getting cards, but I love giving them even more! I can spend countless time browsing the card aisle and looking at and reading countless cards to pick the most thoughtful card for the most miniscule reason (i.e: Congrats for dumping the loser. TRUE STORY!)

However, there have been a more than a couple of times where my busy schedule has allowed me to forget to buy a card and send it and it’s usually for a special occasion, such as my dad’s birthday this year. I’m still kicking myself in the head over that one. Oh, how I wished I knew about justWink on that day.

Oh, what is justWink?  justWink is an awesome collection of greeting cards that feature bold colors, adorable illustrations, and witty copy for every occasion. The combination of whimsical unicorns, sweater-wearing cats, and (of course) bacon with realistic, yet playful messages create an unexpected experience for all. And guess what? Each card has a QR code and URL on the back that directs you to a free justWink app for iPhone and Android phones. Download the app and you can send digital cards via text, email or Facebook. For more information and where to find justWink cards on shelf, visit www.just-wink.com or www.facebook.com/justwink .

Recently, I sent my BFF a cute card to congratulate her on having her new baby girl, who happens to be my goddaughter and who was born on my dad’s birthday! Yep, now I have 2 people to remember to send cards to on July 10th.

Anyway, the justWink app is available for iPhone and Android and it’s easy to use and FREE! So, we don’t have an excuse to not send a card out, do we! No, we don’t!

Tis The Season of Time Saving

Around this time of year, I know I’m not the only one who feels like they are going in 30 million directions and don’t where to turn to next while juggling a list of things to do while not getting to have to have time to the things you actually want to do. Well, there are some things that I do that really help me keep up with my life and the hectic schedule associated and give me spare time to enjoy life. So, I decided to share three things that are my keep me calm and sane.

  1. Write things down – Either by hand or type it your phone, put it words and get into the habit of scratching things/task off when after you’ve completed it. Trust me, not only does it help you keep things in order, but you feel better and better as more things get scratched off.
  2. Schedule – There’s a time and place for everything, right?! Well, not really, but there are some things that show up on our agendas that you can be schedule instead of winging, such as grocery shopping.
  3. Allot time – There are some things or should I say places, that I give myself a certain amount of time to stay in for example, the mall on Black Friday. It helps me stay on track and also not go over budget. 😉

All of these steps can be easy to adapt on a cell phone, such as Samsung’s new phone. Introducing the Samsung Stratosphere™ , the first full QWERTY keyboard slider on Verizon’s lightning fast 4GLTE network. Learn More here.
