As I sit her at my desk, I’m wearing my go-to Spanx and my loose fit jeans and my waist is still giving the button on my jeans a hard time. Typical day-after Thanksgiving bulge from all the good eating starts giving your pants/skirt’ button a run for their money and your patience.
Well, this product’s information has been sitting in my inbox for more than a minute and right now I am really regretting not ordering one…last week! Oh, how I need this Adjust-A-Button right now and for the rest of the holiday season. Adjust-A-Button allows you to extend or tighten your waistband in seconds. Do you tend to fluctuate in weight, especially around the holiday season? *raises hand* Well, this is perfect for you!
Last year, was the first year I heard about JC Penney’s Beware of the Doghouse promotion. The site, Beware of the Doghouse, allows women to enter their worse gift or men to enter gift that they gave that put them in the doghouse. Not only can you enter your own case, but you can review other cases and give your opinion.
The site also allows users to build a case against their bad gift-giver filled with written statements and imported photos, videos and witness testimony as evidence of the bad gift-giving. So, funny!
So, if you have someone you know that needs to be put in the doghouse, then go to BewareoftheDoghouse.com and build up their case.
In the meantime, enter your name and location in the comment section to win a $100 JC Penney gift card that JCP provided to get yourself something pretty to make up for having to go through that craptastic gift!
Deadline to enter is Friday, December 11, 2009
This contest is CLOSED! The winner will be notified by email! Thanks for all the entries.
Last week, reality star Kim Kardashian attended ebay’s holiday store in NYC wearing a gorgeous one shoulder dress by Alexander Wang. When I first saw her in that dress, I was really floored at how beautiful it was.
Don’t you hate when you see something that you want hardcore, but then the rational side of you interrupts you dream and goal of buying it and instead gives you one big and good question of “Why do you need this?”
Well, my rational side interrupted me when I laid my eyes on this Ultraviolet satchel by L.A.M.B. in Absinthe. As you can see above, absinthe is a bright green that almost looks like the color of some chemical being brood on a burner in a lab, hence the name of absinthe.
Although the bag also comes in the bland neutrals of black and grey, but the absinthe is drawing me into the light that shoots from it. My rational side is right and I don’t need it, but I do want it!
