Tandem Hair Washing Routine

Tandem Hair Wash Routine | STAINED COUTURE

For the past month I’ve been trying tandem washing my hair. Tandem washing it basically switchihng up which hair products you use every other time you wash you hair. This doesn’t mean every you wash you hair you use different product, but I guess you can. However, I use a system that provides one thing for my hair and then next time I use another system that provides something completely different.

Confused and/or want to know more about this process and  what producs I use, please keep reading.

Work Bags for Walking Commute

Work Bags for Walking Commute

Work Bags for Walking to Work | STAINED COUTURE

It’s been almost a monthsince my job moved just a 5 minute walk away. However, I’ve yet to take that 5 minute walk, becasue I’m still trying to prepare. It’s s a quick walk that I’ve taken before. However, I will have to cross a major street – the nearest crosswalk will add another 5-10 minutes. Also, when I’ve taken that walk before, it was part of my hot girl walk andI only had my keys, phone, and vibes.

Unlike the other walks, I need to carry a purse for things I need to take to work and/or back home. My office is located right next to my grocery store, which means I grab some things to take home for dinner. Plus, there are some more lunch option, but my diet and budget may require me to bring lunch more. Therefore, I’m looking for a new purse work  that easy to carry and spacious.

So, here are some bags that I think will work for walking to work and one may work for you, too!

Work Bags for Walking Commute

  • Small Nylon Bag – I love a good nylon bag, because they can handle the occasional coffee spill. This one is available in 20+ colors
  • Mini Fabric Tote – This fabric tote is not too big or small – will work for bare work essentials or half-days.
  • Cutout Leather Tote – Honestly, I was immediately obsessed with this leather Madewell tote. Madewell really knows how to make quality leather goods at affordable prices.
  • Faux Leather Shopping Bag – This shopper bag is huge and would work if you carry alot of things, including a laptop.
  • Triple Compartment Satchel – You can never go wrong with a satchel for work. This one works, because it has 3 comparments and still looks sleek. I loved this olive color so much.

LINK-END ROUND-UP: October 05, 2023 | STAINED COUTURE

Happy Friday, peeps! Here we are at another Friday where I feel like I’m being choked by my to-do list. You might recall that last week my job was moving locations, which turned into an all weekend situation. It was typical move of exhaustion followed by trying to locate items and boxes. Luckily, I only needed to fill up a medium size box with my belongings. Unfortunately, I didn’t find that one box until the other day.

We’re still trying to get organized, but we’re getting there. Now,  just need to get back to my personal to-do list. At the top of my list is setting up a long overdue eye doctor appointment. Last week I finally found a couple of options, but now I just need call to set up an appointment. Hoping to get to that today – no later than tomorrow.

Another thing I really need to do this weekend is finish setting up my halloween decorations. I have all the decor out, but now I just need to style. Honestly, my new neighbor has really gone all out. She added some decorations to her front door, which look staight out of a Pinterest board. I’ve got to get it together.

While step my fall festive decor up, please check out the reads in this week’s Link-End Round-Up.

LUST-HAVE LIST: October 2023

LUST-HAVE LIST: October 2023

LUST-HAVE LIST: October 2023 | STAINED COUTURE

Happy October! They way that September just breezed in and out this year is unsettling. However, I’m not complaining, because it feels like I have a birthday/anniversary to remember every day in September, including my own birthday. So, again, I’m not complaining it just would have been nice to get a breather. I guess that’s October is going to be for me – a breather.

Now that it’s officially Fall and October, I’m ready for the cool weather and fun festivities. Here are some of the things I would love to acquite this month.

LUST-HAVE LIST: October 2023

  • Quilted Hinged Bracelet – I’ve been wanting to find a thick gold hinged bracelet that didn’t break the bank. This is just the right width and I even like the quilted detail.
  • Duvet Puffer Jacket– The weather is supposed to start dropping soon and I need a ligtweight puffer coat. Saw this one at Target and it’s perfect and super soft.
  • Ultra Mini UGG boots – It’ almost UGG season and I’ve been eyeing a couple of new styles, but this super short classic style is my favorite. I think they’ll be easy to slide on and go – like flip flops.
  • Nike Invincible 3 – My job recently moved even closer to me and I will actually be able to walk towork in 5 minutes. So, I need some new sneakers to walk in. I was thinking about jumping on the HOKA bandwagon, but I can’t get with the look of them. The Nike Invincible have great reviews and look similar to the HOKA, but not as chunky.
  • Kate Spade Cherie Perfume – For my birthday, one of my dearest friends let’s me pick out a “little happy” at Target – I love her so much! I picked out the purse size of this Kate Spade Cherie perfume and I couldn’t stop smelling my wrist while driving home. lol It’s a perfect blend of  fruity and floral, but with a tangy kick. Needless to say, I think I need the full-size!
