EMPTIES: December 2021
Last month, I only used up a few products, but all are worthy if sharing. Keep reading to see what I used up and my final review on each.
First up, I used these Youtheory Immune+ daily wellness multivitamin, which I mostly enjoyed. I loved that they were vegetarian and had all the daily vitamins need to keep my immune system up to par. For the most part, these were great multivitamins. The only thing that took some time to get used to was need to take 3 pills instead of the traditional 2. It was weird, but I got used to it eventually. In the end, if I saw these in a store while looking for a multivitamin for the immune system, I would pick these up.
The next product I used up was The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid serum, which I use up a couple of times a year. I’m a firm believer that you need to have some hyaluronic acid in your skincare arsenal. Hyaluronic acid helps add and retain moisture to your skin, along with a handful of other benefits. So, just keep a bottle on deck, especially if you have dry skin and/or for winter skincare.
Up until I received this sample of this Tula probiotic purifying facial wash, I had never tried any Tula products. However, surprisingly, I really loved this face wash. This face wash was a great second step when double cleansing on days when I wore makeup. I used the Tula face wash to make sure that all my makeup was removed. Plus, it didn’t make my skin feel dry – just clean. I would totally buy the full-size version of this cleanser.
Finally, I used up the Dermaflage Made in the Shade mineral foundation powder, which I’m still in awe about. When I first started working for Dermaflage, I had the hardest time finding the right for me – it was either too yellow or too olive. Then one day, I decided to try our Medium Cool, which is for people with extremely pink/red undertones. I didn’t think that would work, but it’s been great and it also tones down foundations that are too warm for me. It’s my go-to setting powder and foundation, which is also waterproof and full-coverage. Love it hard!
