Yep, I’ve been in dress mode. I mean, it’s just been too hot to do much other than find the easiest thing to wear without looking a hot hot mess. Dresses are the easiest answer to the problem of dressing for coolness, comfort, and convenience these hot summer days, but what about these hot summer nights?

After prom season is kaput, the need for evening dresses gets pretty much eliminated….or does it? Well, I’ve been meaning to find a staple evening dress and I’ve been looking through so many designer dresses that it’s pretty much getting ridiculous. I feel that you need at least 1 formal dress in your closet for that one day when you’re invited to a fancy party and have that one go-to dress that you can pull out, anytime of the year and be breathtaking.

I think I found the perfect fancy dress closet staple in the Jovani homecoming style dress, plus it’s a LBD. It’s fun, flirty, but chic and classic, at the same time! I love the full skirt and the sheer detail. Pretty much any age demographic can pull this dress off and the silhouette is multi-shape friendly. Yeah… I don’t think I want this dress. I NEED THIS DRESS! Chiffon perfection.
