Did you know that January is Hot Tea Month and that January 12 is National Hot Tea Day? Well, I just learned this the other day, but I’m all for it.
Currently, I’m fasting off coffee for most of the month and it’s been a little rough. However, my stash of Stash Teas has been keeping me going. FYI, this isn’t a sponsored post – Stash teas are just my current go-to teas at the moment. Keep reading to see my favorite tea combinations throughout most days.
Since we are in the season of everyone being sick, having 1 or 3 cups of hot tea everyday isn’t a bad idea. Actually, I’ve been using this time of fasting to experiment by steeping different teas together. Today being National Hot Tea seems like the perfect day to share a couple of my favorites. The first tea bag blends I’ve been loving is the Lemon Ginger, Golden Tumeric, and Moroccan Mint. All three of these teas are great on their for when you’re feeling a little under the weather. However, when you combine all three, they will instantly make you feel nice a warm. I prefer to enjoy this blend of teas hot with a tablespoon of honey and some hefty squeezes of lemon juice. So, not only does it feel good when sipping, it tastes amazing.
I love a good chai tea moment, especially a vanilla chai. Stash’s double spiced chai and cinnamon vanilla with almond milk is a vibe! It’s the perfect blend of sweet and spice and the almond milk makes it smooth enough to drink and love – hot or iced. Whenever I decide to take a break from coffee, chai lattes are my replacements. They have the same strong taste like coffee, but don’t get me as jittery. I prefer my chai lattes with a vanilla flavor, which the Cinnamon Vanilla tea does. If you love chai lattes, I think you would really enjoy these 2 together.
Finally, the chamomile nights and lemon ginger has become my favorite thing to sip on before bed. It’s so calming and relaxing, which is the only thing I want to feel after a long day. Both of these teas are soothing on their own, but they add a refreshing feel when combined. I’m pretty sure that this is due to them both containing spearmint, but it’s not too overpowering. Love it!
