TRESS ENVY: Kerry Washington’s Ombre at Letterman

Oh, do I have any plans tonight? Just sitting in front of the TV rejecting all phone calls watching Scandal.

It seems like Scandal has been on one of those one and a half year breaks ( a la’ Mad Men), but it’s only been a few months since we found out that the Olivia Pope’s own father was trying to have her killed and possibly exposed that she was sleeping with the president. Oh, child….that was even too much juice to type.

Since the new season starts tonight, Kerry Washington a.k.a Olivia Pope has been doing her press rounds to promote the show, which would have people tuning in if she did them or not. Last night, she brought all her fabulousness to The Late Show with David Letterman. I have yet to see her not look breathtakingly beautiful! Ugh…

Although she looked effortless chic in her Prabul Garang dress, I couldn’t stop but inhale and obsess over her layered auburn ombre’ curled coif. So subtle and chic and the picture above was candid by paparazzi!! I can’t deal.

LUST-HAVE LIST: October 2013

Halloween, tough jackets, and cool mornings. One of my favorite months, October, is here and I’m all in! Even as I write this, it’s cloudy, cool, and calming outside and feels and looks like late fall/early winter. So…I’m happy. PLUS, Starbucks has brought out their Pumpkin Spice Latte which is always the first sign that we are in the midst of fall rolling through.

Dashing n Lashing with L’Oreal

This summer did the most on my beauty/ makeup routine. Child…simple and natural won most of the days. The main area of my face that saw less make-up and action were my eyes. Seriously, L’Oreal Lineur Intense liner, L’Oreal Voluminous mascara, and an allergy pill to the mouth to control my watery eyes. My lids haven’t seen eyeshadow in so long. smh.

However, now that fall has finally arrived. I think I’m going to stick to this 1-2 knockout for my eyes. Still…I did some eyeshadow palettes from the new Riri loves M.A.C collection that I want. I’m a mess, but eyes are classic and chic.
