Converse x CLOT

Converse launched the Converse UNDFTD x CLOT Chuck Taylor All Star, ushering in a new joint collaboration between Converse and two longstanding First String partners Undefeated and CLOT. The sneaker collection consists of two styles that combine iconic elements from each brand, fusing Undefeated’s military and sport-driven ethos with CLOT’s lens on Eastern and Western urban lifestyle culture.

The Converse UNDFTD x CLOT Chuck Taylor All Star collection focuses on material and design as a source of expression with the use of sateen nylon and orange silk. Sateen nylon is a favorite material from the Undefeated arsenal inspired by the classic MA1 flight jacket. The sneaker is accented with orange outsole detailing and finished off with an orange silk lining developed by CLOT — adding a touch of luxury.  Designed with an innovative zip-up lace guard woven into the upper, the sneaker is available in black and olive colorways.

The Converse UNDFTD x CLOT Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers will be available starting Saturday, August 24 at JUICE in Hong Kong and UNDFTD in Las Vegas for $120USD.

I Need ‘Clove’

JC_clove_boot

Seriously, boot weather needs to hurry up, because I’m sick of sandals and dare say my collection of staple flip flops. I’m oh so ready to select a pair of warm and shiny boots to wear. Personally, I would love for these Jeffrey Campbell boots to be at the top of the list. Aren’t they fab?!

Jeffrey Campbell’s Clove boots are a shiny military-style boot complete with buckles and zippers. However, what really makes this boot so swoonful is the hidden wedge. Yes, ladies (and gents), there is a 3 1/2 inch hidden wedge that takes this boots to the top of my boot wishlist.

Across the board, the designs play with a variety of interesting texture; from intricate crochet to embroidered mesh, and heavy beading to fun flapper-esque fringe. Priced between $350-$600, the skirts will be available exclusively through FreePeople.com for a limited time only.

One of the biggest style trends that is taking over runways and sidewalks is matching coordinates. From matching printed tees and shorts to bandeau tops and flowing skirts, the trend and style is everywhere.

I haven’t participated in wearing matching prints since my mom used to buy me two piece shirt sets when I was in elementary school. However, I’m more than tempted try it out. If you are, here are some suggestions down below.
