Winter Uniform 2023 | STAINED COUTURE

Winter is here and so is my go-to Winter outfit! If I’m being honest, I would/will be wear leggings and oversized t-shirts for the most part.  Honestly, having a job where you can lowkey “come as you are” has really allowed me to leisurely most days. However, one of my plans for the new year is to get “dressed” more, because the “Adam Sandler running errands look” is wearing out on me.

Don’t get it confused – I’m not planning to break out heels and dresses. The goal is to look like I tried and care sometimes. So, keep reading for the details!

  • Leather Moto Style Jacket – I’ve been craving a leather moto style jacket for a while now, but they were either not simple enough or too rich for my blood. This faux one has the right look and price point.
  • Chunky colorful scarf – A chunky neon yellow scarf helps add a punch of color to any cold winter look.
  • Small furry purse – A couple of weeks ago, I randomly ordered small furry brown purse on Target. Unfortunately, it sold out before they could pack my order, but now I think I need a small furry option to my small purses collection.
  • Henley Shirt – I bought my sister Henley shirt for Christmas and realized that I don’t have any. That’s going to change soon.
  • Light Wash Jeans -I haven’t owned a pair of loose light wash jeans like this since junior high – 90s vibes. I love the look of this pair of jeans. They have just the right amount of loose but without the tapered ankles from the 90s.
  • All White Running Shoes – An all white pair of tennis shoes seems absurd, but it fits better with my vision.

LINK-END ROUND-UP: December 08, 2023 | STAINED COUTURE

Happy Friday, ladies and lads! How was your week? Mine was fine and just fine, because seasonal depression felt like it was showing up. Thankfully, I’ve learned some coping mechanisms over the years on how to deal with it. I even included a link below on how to cope with certain holiday triggers.

I don’t have any plans for this weekend, which I need to enjoy. This might be my last clear weekend for the rest of the year, because I’m planning to complete all my Christmas shopping next weekend. This is starting to become my norm, because there aren’t many “must get before they sell out” things on my list. I think I’m hoping that procrastinating will have me score some last minute deals. *fingers crossed*

I still haven’t reworked my Christmas tree. So, I might do that this weekend, plus some of my lights had the nerve to go out. So, I might be buying more Christmas lights this weekend. *insert the biggest eye roll in the history of eye rolls*

I hope you have a great weekend and please check out this week’s Link-End Round-Up and the articles about dealing with holiday triggers.

GIFT GUIDE: Gifts for Him | STAINED COUTURE

GIFT GUIDE: Gifts for Him

GIFT GUIDE: Gifts for Him 2023 | STAINED COUTURE

Here’s another gift guide, but this time for the gents. Shopping for men can be easy, but also hard. I’m firm believer in people telling me what they want so I can get it. Unfortunately, you may still have to find something they will love and didn’t know they wanted. My top love language is gift giving and I love when I give someone a gift and they immediately love it.

Although this gift guide is gifts for him, I think a lot of this items can be for all. Personally, there are a couple of things on this list, I wouldn’t mind receiving myself. Check out this Gifts for Him gift guide.

GIFT GUIDE: Gifts for Him

  • Stainless Steel Cocktail Set – This is a really nice and classic cocktail set
  • Whiskey Making Kit – Making your own whiskey sounds super fun and interesting. This may encourage a new hobby.
  • Fingerless Mittens – Honestly, I want a pair of fingerless mittens myself, but this pair would make a great gift for any man on your list.
  • Leg Air Massager – The runner on your list will love this! Even if they aren’t a runner, putting this on after a long day on your feet has to feel amazing.
  • Adjustable Dumbbell – This adjustable dumbbell would save so much space or ideal for an at-home gym in small space.
  • Insulated Flannel Lined Jacket – An insulated Carthart jacket says “I love you and want you to be warm and sexy” – Trust me!

LINK-END ROUND-UP: December 01, 2023 | STAINED COUTURE

I seriously can’t believe it’s December and this year is almost dunzo. Let me stop, because the thought is giving me anxiety.

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a Link-End Round-Up, but I was experiencing some technical issues. That’s the main reason I haven’t been posting, but also life has been doing the most. I guess that’s normal for this time of year.

I’ve been working on getting into the holiday spirit – I did get my tree up! Unfortunately, my tree isn’t sparking the same joy it did last year. I think I know why and what would fix it, which I’m going to try to do this weekend. Also, going to make sure my favorite Christmas movies are playing for inspiration. 😀

At the moment, my weekend plans include a possible nail appointment and going to see  Beyonce’s ‘Renaissance’ movie with my bestie. So far, it’s panning out to be a nice weekend. I hope you enjoy your weekend and check out the links in this week’s Link-End Round-Up. Honestly, I think all of these reads are really good.
