Spring Fling with Tasha Accessories

I prefer freezing than sweating and I thing my curvy body looks better in warm fitted clothes. So, I like the winter and I love when it snows. However, today in Memphis and most of the midwest and south east, we are experiencing a “nice” winter weather storm filled with freezing rain, sleet, and snow. It was nice to be able to stay home and not have to go to work and instead lounge around in sweats, but I’m almost over the winter and can’t wait for spring.

Since I’m trying to a put a rush order on spring, I found myself browsing around online looking for remenants of spring that would help me ignore the freezing mess that I hear hitting my window as I type. Tasha floral hair accessories definitely did that for me. Read more to see more!

I’m loving the look of the floral clips, but the 2 reviews on Nordstrom’s website were not that encouraging, but they are still very pretty. Even the two reviews admitted that!

However, the floral headband is calling my name, especially the yellow one. It looks so full and just down right uber pretty. I want it. Actually, I think I kind of need it! Okay, I’m gonna buy it! This post did it for me! How about you? Do this make you wish it was spring already?

Beyonce’s about to get everyone “Heat”ed

I’ve never been a fan of celebrity fragrances, let alone anticapated the arrival of one before. However, I will admit that I can’t wait to smell Beyonce’s inaugural perfume. The scent is described as modern with ” floral, fruity, woody perfume features rare, sensual flowers and is feminine and irresistible.” Nice.

Last year, Beyonce teamed up with one of the major players in perfumes, Coty Inc., to concoct her first dip into the celebrity scent biz. This isn’t her first dip in the perfume market due to her endorsements of Tommy Hilger and Armani, but this is her first signature scent.

To help launch her newest “baby”, she is going have to major events in NYC around the launch date. Info is below!

  • February 2nd: New Yorkers will catch the fever as Beyoncé turns up the heat in Union Square. To celebrate the launch of her debut fragrance the visionary artist is illuminating the central destination with fiery red light and smoky fog, infusing the winter landscape with a steamy, sexy aura that embodies Beyoncé’s unique appeal (Illumination from 6:00PM until Midnight).
  • February 3rd: Beyoncé will make a personal appearance at Macy’s Herald Square.  The first customers to purchase the exclusive Beyoncé Heat 3-piece fragrance set will have the opportunity to meet and pose for a special picture with the multi-talented global icon!

Gillian at kate spade

I’ve always been a fan of kate spade bags. They are simple and classic bags that are well made and timeless. I own one black kate spade tote that I got all the way back in college and it still looks incredible and is ageless in style.

Despite my love and appreciation of kate spade bags, I’ve never really tried the shoes out. Mainly, I’ve never really seen a pair that made me want hardcore. Well, all that changed when I saw these beauts! More after the jump!

Yay or Nay…UGG denim boots

Over the past couple of years, UGG has been experimenting with other styles of shoes other than furry boots. That notion is very visible in their Spring 2010 collection. The collection features strappy sandals and sneakers. However the one item that grabbed my attention are these lo pro button boots that have the same shape of their classic UGG boots. However, they switched up the lining a bit by covering the sheepskin with a lightweight printed cotton. Kinda cute, but I’m not sure how I feel about the boyfriend denim boots. I’ve never been a fan of denim shoes, let alone boots. So, I’m torn, because they are a medium rinse and kinda dark, but they are still denim. I don’t know. What about you? yay or nay?
