Summer finally arrived this past weekend, even though the heat would’ve made one think that summer has already been here for a smooth 2 months, but I digress.

Now that summer is officially here, it’s pretty much dress season. Dresses are your best friend in the hot and humid summer months, because they are so easy to throw on and dress up or down. However, one dress that every girl needs in her summer wardrobe and dress collection, in general, is a little white lace dress (LWLD). They are so versatile and you can find at least one version for almost any occasion.

It would be awesome for a night out on the town or party. Awesome.

There’s a LWLD for all occasions and situations. I’m loving this simple white dress from Old Navy with a wide lace trim and is the perfect dress to throw on when running errands and grabbing lunch with friends on the weekend. However, I’m always down for a super cute and girly, but chic white lace dress that is perfect for a Sunday brunch or garden party (do those still exist?), like this lace sweetheart dress by Lilly Pulitzer.
