That One Dress You Need This Season…and Forever

Sometimes, it can be quite a challenger to find a dress that can be perfect for fall and winter and can be casual, professional, or dressy needed. Also, for that dress to me another color other than the never fail color of black.

Anthropologies’ Bressay Dress is the dress to you add to your closet for those days when you just can’t think of anything to wear, but need to look like you carefully planned out your outfit. The perfect and universal friendly shade of burgundy, subtly chic details, and hidden pockets are great. Plus the fabric has a little weight to it, but the feels light once on.

As you can see from the model above, the layering options can help this dress transition you from fall to winter by the addition of an oxford shirt, cardigan, or blazer. Yeah, this dress is a definite need.

More Kelly Green, please?!

I always get compliments when I wear kelly green. ALWAYS! So, apparently, kelly green is my color and I love it, too. It just sucks that the only thing I have in that color is a cropped cardigan, which I just wore this past Friday, and an old SAK satchel that is starting to fade and lose it “kelly-ness”.

So, needless to say, I might need to start loading up on kelly green pieces. Ironically, I received this month’s Anthropologie catalog and on the front cover, the model is wearing a pair of AG Stevie Ankle jeans in kelly green and they look amazing and I was sold instantly on finding a pair of kelly green pants or jeans.

They would be perfect to wear all summer and plus, I can pretty much guarantee I what I will be wearing every March 17th for a while. So, yeah, I need to find a pair….SOON!

Floral Fixings

I’ve finally decided that I want my kitchen to have a floral motif! The kitchen in my apartment has dark wood cabinets and this plain boring tan counters. BLEH. However, my lease clearly states that I can’t do anything about that, but I can accessorize it with pretty floral accessories and designs, like these petal measuring spoons and measuring cups from Anthropologie. They will compliment my Liberty of London canisters muy perfecto!
