TREND WATCH: Retro Flare Jeans

TREND_retro_flare_denim

This summer, it looks like the retro 70s vibe including big floppy hats, fringed out everything, and my fav, flare denim jeans are in for the season.

Personally, I will always be a fan of flared jeans, because it helps proportion me and my wider midsection. *insert shame face*.

Still, flared jeans with retro rinses, details, and hems are the rage for the summer. So, jump on board and into some suggestions I found…..

These MOTO Jaime Flared Jeans are so classic with the mid stone rinse, but super retro thanks to the flared bottom and high waist.

Jelly Time!

jellys_2013

Okay, let me start by asking, how old is too old to rock retro jelly sandals? Recently, singer Rita Ora and rapper Azalea Banks had the nerve to get into a super soft social media spat about who was biting whose style by rocking them first. Google that mess when you find yourself looking to research dumb twitter fights by up and coming artists.

Anyway, back to jelly sandals. It seems like every few years these make a quick comeback for the spring and summer and then disappears into the coolness of fall. So, I guess 2013 is welcoming jellies back  and I must say that I’m slightly giddy about that! Don’t get it twisted, you will not find me rocking a pair to work, but you might stumble across me in Kroger’s produce section nit picking at 2 for $5 strawberries in a pair of hot pink ones. Oh, yes, you will.

Jellybeans has jellies in practically every color (fun name included) suitable for this retro return. I’m personally itching for a pair in Pinkalicious (Hot Pink) and Clear Sparkles (name speaks for itself), because you can never go wrong with clear things that sparkle.

To see the full selection of rainbow jellies and start collecting every color possible, visit www.jbeans.com.au/.
