I Love Olive!

Every season, there is one color that I’m drawn to and find myself buying various things in various shades of that color. This season, it’s all about olive for me. I don’t know if it’s because of all the military themes still prevalent this season, but I love olive! Here some of my favorite olive things that I’m loving right now!

  • A. Sorial ‘Tanya’ Suede Drawstring Hobo, $188, Nordstrom – I used this bag in the latest look on eStylist Online and I think this might be my next purchase. I’m just saying.
  • B. Tom Ford ‘Hunter’ Metal Aviator Sunglasses, $340, Nordstrom – You can’t tell from the photo, but the entire lense is olive. Check out Nordstrom.com to see a picture of a woman wearing them and prepare to feel the urge to order them.
  • C. Sumptuous Olive Eyeshadow, $14, M.A.C – This is the one eyeshadow that I found in my make-up case that I was glad was there now that I’ve been obsessing over olive. Its a deep green khaki pearl color that can be worn everyday as a neutral. Lately, I’ve been wearing it as a simple wash on my lids lined with a bronze/gold liner. Love it!
  • D. Maje Arletta coat, $620, Net-A-Porter – That’s it, I want an olive peacoat. Peacoat is my go-to style of coat. I have one in black, navy, red, and camel. I was thinking about getting a purple or orange one next, but not after seeing this coat!
  • E. MICHAEL Michael Kors ‘tatum’ Oxford, $149.95, Nordstrom – Love at first site. Love them!
  • F. Le Vernis Khaki Vert Nail Polish, $25, Chanel – I just order this last night after looking at swatches on Youtube all night. I so can’t wait for this to come. Although I might have to cut my nails, because it looks better on shorter nails, I feel its worth it. Plus, it’s freaking Chanel, chile!

Swooning… New Regent Sweater

I don’t know about ya’ll, but here in Memphis, the weather has been sunny and slightly chilly. Basically, fall weather is getting settled in. So, looking at sweaters has become a recent past time for me.

When I saw this Laurie B cozy looking sweater, I was pointing and going “Yes. Yes.” The Regent sweater should be a need for everyone. You can wear it plain or cinch it with a belt. Either way, it will make you look chic for fall. I’m obsessed with this sweater!

Whimsical Jewelry Organizing

I’m usually an organized person with everything being in it’s spot. However, that was not the case when it came to my jewelry. I just let it clump and pile on  my dresser. Cheap intermingling with pricey, favorites pieces nestled with a pile of earrings mixing their backings. It was just a pure mess, but now that it is in the past thanks to these whimsical and affordable jewelry stands I bought at Urban Outfitters.

Keep reading to see before and after pics!

All the junk and crappy jewelry that didn't make the final cup. Screws?

Interested in either of these jewelry stands. Well, click here and here to purchase!

LUST-HAVE LIST: October 2010

It’s already October?! This year is just zipping by and the cool breezy fall weather is just reaching my neck out the woods. Yippee!

Keep reading to see the things that I’m lusting for in October!

  • A. Origins GinZing eye cream, $29.50, Origins.com – I’ve been obsessed with eye cream lately. I feel like my under eye area is not as bright as it used to be and want to get rid of that before  it gets worse. I’ve read some pretty amazing reviews about this eye cream and the fact that it has caffeine and ginseng. Sounds like a punch of energy for the eyes, without leaving a nasty bruise.
  • B. Jeffrey Campbell Fang Black Razor Sharp Pumps, $121, Lulu’s – Fall is the perfect season for leather mules, because not matter if its a cool or warm fall day they work. These JB pair are described more as a shoe that looks like a mule, but I don’t care. They look sexy, yet practical for any fall outfit.
  • C. Claw Money The Shopper Tee, $45, Karmaloop – Cropped big boxy tees have been my guilty pleasure on the weekend. Although they provide absolutely NO SHAPE, they make up for it comfort and edge. This shopper tee  that plays off of Bloomingdales iconic brown bag is practically begging for me to add it to my closet. I just imagine pairing it with a shrunken cardigan and skinnies.
  • D. Madison Patent Sophia Satchel, $358, Coach – Coach has really been impressing with their higher end bags, especially the Sophia satchel. Plus, it’s hard for moi to not fall for a deep red patent leather bag that would add so much life to any fall outfit.
  • E. Brush Set Essentials, $28, Stila – Makeup brushes. *Deep sigh* I’ve been buying so many in different styles, sizes, and prices that it’s too ridiculous to mention. I told myself that I was through buying them for awhile. Well, that was before Stila sent out the email about their Holiday 2010 collection, which includes these brushes. I love the metallic pink and black contrast and they would look and fit perfectly with my others. BEAUTY BONUS: You get all 5 for $28!
