Polo outfits the U.S Olympics

Yesterday, I showed you the Roxy special Olympic collection for Torah Bright. Today, I’m showing you some of the official pieces that Ralph Lauren Polo did for the U.S. Winter Olympic team.

Polo outfitted the U.S. for the 2008 Summer Olympics that were very classic American. So, Polo has once again come up with designs for the 2010 Winter Olympics.

The collection features various winter apparel that dons red, white, and blue fabric. The collection includes customizable polos, jackets, down vest, and a shawl cardigan that will most likely be worn by the U.S team during the opening ceremony.

NARS Spring 2010 Collection

NARS has just released its Spring 2010 collection that features soft and sexy shades inspired by Catherine Deneuve’s role as Lucille in La Chamade. The shades are elegant and versatile, just like Deneuve’s character.

“I love Catherine’s makeup look in this movie,” says François. “It’s very sophisticated and bourgeois in a Parisian ‘16th Arrondissement’ way. She is the perfect reference for this collection, and apropos for spring, a time to embrace color and get noticed.”

Half Faux, but Full Fab!

Excuse my absence yesterday, but I didn’t have to come to the office yesterday and Mother nature rewarded us Memphians with a sunny day in upper 50s! So, needless to day, my BF and I decided to enjoy it.

It was so nice to be able to leave the house without bundling up in 2-3 layers of outerwear. All I did was grab my simple black blazer and a nice pashmina scarf and it was just enough warmth for a fabulous day or enjoying life.

However, what would have made me and the day a little more fabulous is if I would have been able to rock this affordable piece of hotness, purple label’s ray leather sleeve jacket!

Its a uber chic black blazer with a hint of edginess thanks to the sleeves being half faux leather. It would look great with a jeans, a white tee, and simple pair of shoes. Plus, its on sale for $42 at 80s Purple! Yes, large is still available!
