Every summer, the one skincare product that I have to have in my nightly skincare routine is foaming cleanser. Foaming cleansers are great for oily skin, which is my skin type in the summer.

Recently, I stopped by a local drugstore after work, becausenI needed a new foaming face wash. After contemplating a few options, I decided to give my money and chance to Olay’s Gentle Foaming Cleanser. I’m so glad I did, because it’s just what I needed. I’m not sure how this happened, but I’ve been going through so many beauty products lately. I was trying to do a new Empties post every season, but I have used up way too many product these last few months. Therefore, I couldn’t wait any longer and decided to take an executive decision and do EMPTIES: Spring 2019 pt. 2. Using up so many products over the past couple of months is a good and bad thing. It’s good, because I’ve been cautious about using up products instead of buying new things. The bad thing is that I’ve now iut of different products, such as night creams. So, I have to start buying some new products soon.

3 Beauty Products I’m Trying To Use Up

I love beauty products! One of my favorite hobbies is buying, trying, and experimenting with different products. When I find a way to incorporate a new product into one of my routines; I feel accomplished. However, over the past couple of years, I’ve become more mindful of hoarding so many products. Usually, when I can’t make a product work for my skin, I find a friend or family member that might enjoy them. However, there are some products that I don’t necessarily “hoard”, but just don’t use that much.

3 Beauty Products I'm Trying to Use Up

There are numerous reasons why I’ve been mindful of having too many products without using them. Maybe I do use them, but only use them during certain temperatures. However, the main reason I don’t use them is because they just don’t work as well as I would like. So, I recently started to make an effort to use some of these products up, because my skin doesn’t hate them. They just could’ve been a little better.

SKIN ESSENCE: Your Skin’s New BFF

A few weeks ago, my skin and I were going through it bad! I was going through some career drama, which lead to stress and my skin showing the signs. So, I did what I usually do when my skin acts up; go back to the basics. I broke out my simple skincare routine and strayed away from strong ingredients. However, all of my night time moisturizers were too heavy and/or strong to use. Plus, since it’s starting to warm up, I know I didn’t want nor need anything to heavy. Enter, skin essences! Skin essences are low key a must-have for every skincare products collection, no matter your skin type. Plus the right skin essence can bring out the best in other skincare products you use.
