Happy Friday! I have good news and bad news going on in my life right now. Good news is that today is my last day in the office before my vacation begins. The bad news is that my boss and coworker have been out because they both have been in close contact with people who both tested positive for COVID on Wednesday. Luckily, they are both vaccinated, haven’t tested positive, and aren’t feeling any symptoms. However, if the latter 2 changes today, I will have to cancel my trip to Dallas this weekend.

The main reason I’m going is to see my childhood best friend and attend her daughter’s baby shower. I don’t want to take even the slightest chance that I could bring it and get anyone there infected. So, praying for negative test results for all. Ironically, the last time I went to Dallas was June of 2020, which was a quick trip because I was trying to avoid catching it. Now look at me – probably can’t go to avoid spreading it. SMH

So, my weekend plans are dependent on the results of my co-workers test results. If I’m going to be completely honest – as usual – I don’t think I have it. However, I do have a slightly itchy throat, which is most likely from sleeping under a ceiling fan that’s long overdue for a dusting. Not to mention that I also have anxiety and paranoia, but just a little bit. 😉 If you follow me on IG or TikTok, you will find out if I went or not.
