Happy Friday! It’s not officially summer, but the weather has definitely been feeling like it’s here. I’m not complaing, because it’s actually encouraging me to finally devote the time to create my summer wardrobe. I’m leaning toward and elevated everyday casual feminine look. Not sure how that’ going to look, but I’m starting to pin looks.
My plans for this weekend includes attending my best friend’s baby shower, which is so exciting. I didn’t get to go to her last one, because her daugter decide to come on the day of the shower. What an insane day was, but this one seems like it’s going the chill. The theme is “groovy baby” which is all the 70s retro vibes. So, me and curly fro will be in theme. 🙂 Unfortunately, I feel like the baby shower is going to take all my energy for the weekend. So, I’m probably going to lay for the rest of the weekend after that.

Summer Beach Totes 2023
As I mentioned, I’m currently planning a beach vacation for late summer. This weekend, I did square away the room and rental car, which has me excited to go even more. However, now it’s time to start figuring out everything I need. Honestly, I think I have enough clothes, because I plan to loaf in shorts and bathing suits.
I wasn’t prepared the last time I went to the beach. It was a last minute invite and I didn’t have time to plan. Plus, I didn’t think that I would enjoy being on the beach for too long, because I don’t like heat. However, I was really wrong and it was so relaxing and perfectly warm. So, I plan to be laid out on the beach for an extended amount of time this time and know that I will need a beach bag.

LUST-HAVE LIST: June 2023
Happy June! Honestly, I feel bad that I only posted a couple of times last month. However, work was working me, which was also not leaving me room to feel creative. It was definitely weird to not post, but I definitely needed to focus on work and me. No regrets.
Well, it’s technically not summer, but Memorial Day weekend is usually the kick off. I’ve already started to plan a beach vacation for late summer and that’s been a task in itself. Planning and saving is the most adulting thing you have to do at times. Still, it’s for a beach vacation and it’s the motivation I need right now.
