Happy Friday, loves! This may be a very quick post, because I today is a hectic day. By the time you’re ready this, I will be in the middle of a move and feeling overwhelmed.  My company is moving locations, which is exciting. However, the actual moving part is kind of stressful, but at least we have movers doing the brunt. I’m mostly stressed about making sure everything arrives over to the new space the same way it left the old space.

Since I’m not a fan of change, I’m a little in my feels. We moved to this space a month after I started, which was over 4 year ago. Back then, I was the customer support manager and now I’m the operations manager. They are not lying when they say a lot can happen in short time.

Although I’m going to be a little sad about leaving this place, but the new office is right across the street. LOL! I have a huge office space, bu I probably won’t do anything except hang my diplomas and a couple of plants. We’re going to be in walking distance of many more resturaunts and a grocery store with a Starbucks. Speaking of walking, I will be a quick 5 minute walk to work, which means that I need to start looking for a new pair of walking shoes. I should’ve asked for a pair for my birthday. 🙁

Happy Friday, friends! Have ya’ll been stressed all week because 3 of your 4 nephews had birthdays this week or is it just me? Luckily, today is the last one’s birthday and I’m going to take him and his brother lunch. I will then have a quick break until my birthday on Tuesday, which I plan to spend taking the day off. I’ve reached the point where I  just want to spend my birthday doing nothing. Now that I share my birthday month with my 3 youngest nephews, I need that break.

One thing that’s on my agenda is to finally decorate my balcony. I bought the stuff, but I need to put it up. If I don’t do it this weekend, that’s what I’m going to be doing on my birthday. However, I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive about taking the day off because it’s the day before we’re moving office space at work. Well, now, I feel like it’s going to be the perfect time so that I can rest before such a hectic move.

On second thought, maybe I should knock out the plans to do my balcony this weekend. That way, Tuesday will be all about doing nothing. I can’t wait! Still, I hope you have an amazing weekend and please check out the articles in this week’s Link-End Round-Up.

How was your first full week of September? Did you finally start to get what day of the week it was yesterday or are you better than me? Those 3-day weekends stay playing with my sense of time, but I’m starting to enjoy them! The only badside of my Labor Day weekend was that it felt longer than usual, which made that first day back in the office rough.

One good thing that has happened is that second summer is finally wrappng up and cool mornings are back! The highs have been in the upper 80s for the past couple of days, which is making start to evaluate and plan my fall and winter wardrobe. I guess I’m about to login into my Pinterest account this weekend and get to pinning some inspiration. Another thing I’m going to be pinning is fall decor for apartment balconies. My new nighbor has done an amazing job decorating her balcony by hanging witch hats from the ceiling. I’m not doing all that, but I am going to try to do more than just a couple of pumpkins on the ledge.

Today is also my BFF’s daughter’s birthday, which means I have a birthday party to go to this weekend. It’s mermaid theme and it’s going to be fabulous! Also, it’s finally full on football season and I’m hyped. I guess I have a busy weekend after all. I hope you all have a great weekend and check out the reads in this week’s LINK-END ROUND-UP!

Happy September! If you know me, then you already know that September is my favorite month of the year. The main reason is that it’s my birthday month and the kick off of my favorite season; Fall. It’s also the beginning of fall festivals and cooler weather. So, the whole month is pretty much a vibe!

Even though the whole month has a lot going on, the main star for me is still my birthday. Therefore, every September edition of my Lust-Have List is pretty much my birthday wishlist. Usually, I get 1 or 2 things off the list, but I’m challenging myself to get at least 3 of things. No need to wonder, because I’m going to share which ones I’m aiming to grab this month. So, check out the things I’m wanting and aiming to get from this month’s Lust-Have List.

LUST-HAVE LIST: September 2023

  • Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo – I’ve been using the 5-minute mask acidic bonding mask from Redken for about a month and it’s so good! So much so, that I feel like I need to get the shampoo to see if they are going to be my new hair cleaning duo. This is one of the the items I’m definitely getting this month.
  • Coach Lana 23 Colorblock Purse – Another item I’m aiming to get is this super fab bag from Coach. The shape is so good and it’s my favorite color; greem. I thought a new Apple was going to be my big gift to me, but not anymore. Honestly, I think I need this bag like air!
  • Arizona Big Buckle Shearling Lined Sandals – I think 21 year old me wouldn’t get fur-lined sandals, but 41 year old me thinks will feel amazing!
  • Oversized Sweatshirt Dress – I’m going through a bit of a weightloss phase thanks to casual daily weight training. So, clothes are fitting looser and I’m not sure if I’m ready to try smaller sizes at moment. So, oversized tops and dresses like this sweatshirt dress are going to be my fall uniform. Looks super cozy, too!
  • Faux Tree Trunk – I’ve been obsessed with this tree trunk potter for a couple of weeks. The uniqueness speaks to me!
  • Burberry Goddess Perfume – I’ve never wanted to smell a perfume as much as I want to smell this one. I  just know once I smell it, I’m going to want to immediately buy it, which is why it’s the final thing off this month’s list that I’m planning to actually buy.
