Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to have tried some of the best beauty and skincare brands out there and one of my favorites has to be Murad. Although I haven’t tried all of their products, the ones I have had the opportunity to try has given me and my skin some of the best results every. Therefore, I thought today would be a great time to share my favorite Murad products that I’ve tried.
I’m not listing them in any particular order. However, I do want to start with the first Murad product I ever used and helped cure me of consistent breakouts and acne; Murad’s Clarifying Cleanser for Acne. I tried this cleanser for the first time about 10 years ago and after using it for less than a week, my face was noticeably clearer and smoother. After a month of using it, I hardly had any breakouts after that.
The next Murad product that I adore and helped clear my skin is the Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel. Although this gel treatment is very lightweight, it has a punch that helps treat and prevent acne while exfoliating your skin. It’s packed with the ultimate clear skin creating ingredients of salicylic acid, retinol, and glycolic acid. So, if you have really sensitive skin, I would be very cautious with using this more than one or twice a week. It’s topical acne treatment like a spot treatment, but you apply to the area of your skin that breakouts occur. It’s so effective. Although I don’t have problems with acne anymore, I think I’m going to pick up another bottle to keep in my beauty stash in case I have an outbreak in the future.
A few months ago, I had the chance to try a few of Murad’s products to fade dark spots and brighten skin, which include their Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum. I love this serum! In a matter of a week, the pigmentation and acne scars on my face were noticeable lighter. Also, this serum brightens your complexions over time. I use it in the morning and at night. I will have a full on temper tantrum if they ever discontinue this serum. Seriously, my fully grown self will throw myself on the floor and kicking, screaming, and crying myself into a deep sleep. So, don’t try it, Murad.
Along with the serum, I also tried and fell in love with the Essential-C Cleanser, which is a vitamin filled cleanser that helps to remove environmental impurities from your skin while rejuvenating and rehydrating it. This is currently my morning cleanser, because the citrus scent is always nice to help wake me up.
I recently picked the Skin Perfecting Lotion up after years of not buying it and I instantly hated myself for forgetting about this skincare gem. It’s an light-weight, oil-free moisturizer that helps hydrate acne-prone skin and minimize the appearance of pores. Therefore, if you have oily/combination skin and/or enlarge pores, this moisturizer has the potential to be one of your life-long BFFs.
