LUST-HAVE LIST: March 2023 | STAINED COUTURE

Happy March! I feel like March is the first month of the year when everything starts speeding up. Maybe it’s because typically (what’s up with all that snow in SoCal) the weather gets warmer. Also, spring officially starts on March 20, which is my second favorite season. I’ve been loving the cool morning and warm days. It’s been getting rid of the last bit of seasonal depression and getting me excited to plan out my year. Remember, this first year that I’ve skipped new years resolution and instead will do it as a spring awakening. Hopefully,I’ll share more about that soon.

In the meantime, here are the things I’m looking to buy and try this month in my March 2023 Lust-Have List

LUST-HAVE LIST: March 2023

  • Glide and Go Friction Stick – I recently mentioned that the weather is starting to warm up and I’m going to start walking more. Thick thighs may “save live”, but they also chaff by rubbing together and on fabric. This friction stick by Nakery not only prevents chaffing, but also helps hydrate and soften the skin. We’ll see about that.
  • Clinical Skin Retinol and Peptide Serum – I’ve been seeing this new sreum from Paula’s Choice all over my social feeds. Also, PC makes my favorite liquid exfoliator and retinol, which makes me think I will love this, too.
  • Striker Match Holder – I love when home decor also provides a service and this match holder with matching matches is speaking to me.
  • ME. x Barkley H. Hendricks Earrings Set – I have 2 piercings in both ears, but this set is making me think I need another one.
  • Maxi Leather Tote Bag – This oversize leather tote from Zara is perfection. Super roomy, but the perfect chic shade of green.
  • Cream beach sandals – I haven’t had cream sandals in so long that I’m not sure if I’ve ever had a pair. However, this pair is chic and it has a slight platform sole. Love them!

LINK-END ROUND-UP: February 17, 2023 | STAINED COUTURE

Happy Friday! Has anyone else has an off week? Actually, it could be due to the gloomy weather, but at least it hasn’t been cold. Actually, we’ve had temperatures in the high 60s and low 70s the past couple of days. Just wish the sun would join in, because I need to wash my car. lol

Honestly, this has been a week of testing my patience, because there were so many things that didn’t go according to plan. These issues happened at work and personally and brought all the feels. It felt like a week of PMS, but I wasn’t PMSing. Sounds horrible, right? I even took a trip to Target for some serotonin, but that just gave small dose. Maybe I’ll be able to find some serotonin with my weekend plans.

Although I’ve given up on new year’s resolution, one thing I’m actually working on is being more intent. Having intent and showing effort is big for me from others. So, I want to make sure that I’m holding up my end of the bargin. Tomorrow, I’m meeting a friend for breakfast, which is something we started doing late last year. We took January and February off to heal from seasonal depression lol, but we’re picking it back up. I’m the one that suggested we start back this month. We’re both introverts, which means one of us had to initiate it or we would have never done it again.

Anyway, here’s to a great weekend and check out the reads in this week’s Link-End Round-up.

Yeah, they embody tenniscore, which is wearing fashion associated with playing tennis in everyday activities.

Valentine’s Day Ideas for You

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day! Honestly, I’ve never been that big into this holiday – no matter if I’m single or not. The introvert in me doesn’t like attention, which comes with being in a relationship on Valentine’s Day. However, as a person who identifies “gift giving” as my top love language, V-Day can have it’s high points. lol Still, over the years, I’ve found that the best way for me to enjoy the day of love is to focus on doing things that I love. Most Valentine’s Day ideas that you can do for you fall under self-care, which works for me.
