HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE 2019: Fun Gifts for All

STAINED COUTURE’S Holiday Gift Guide 2019 – Fun Gifts for All

HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE 2019: Fun Gifts for All | STAINED COUTURE

Happy final Friday before Christmas! At the last possible minute, I decide to do one more gift guide. This will probably be my last gift guide of the season and I sure hope so. I don’t know about ya’ll, but I’m ready for Christmas to come and leave. Usually, the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas zooms by – not this year. To me, it feels like Thanksgiving was 2 months ago and not just a few weeks ago.

Anyway. My final gift guide is a small list of fun items for almost anyone on your list. PLUS, you can find most of them on Amazon for fast shipping before Christmas. If not, you may find some similar gifts locally. Take a look and get some last minute inspiration.

HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE 2019: Fun Gift for All

  • Margarita Glass Bottle – I thought that this glass bottle was so cute! Perfect for that person on your list that lives for #TacoTuesday.
  • Gradient Jigsaw Puzzle – We need to bring puzzles back, because they can be distracting – in a good way. The person who loves to find  away to unwind with something relaxing like a book or adult coloring books would love this puzzle. Plus, the final product would make a great piece of instant art to hang on the wall.
  • Polaroid Festive Starter Set – When Polaroid cameras came back a couple of years ago, I was stoked. They are the perfect mix of retro vibes and fun times. Everybody from a selfie-taking-lover to a person that loves nostalgia would love to get this camera kit.
  • Glass Monopoly board game – Speaking of retro, Monopoly will always be a top favorite family game to play for all ages. It’s even better to play as an adult, because you now know the value in real estate. As a child, it was just nice to get colorful fake money from your parents landing on your property with a billion hotels on it. This glass version of the iconic game looks more luxe, but just as fun for everyone.
  • Taco vs Burrito game – Who doesn’t look a silly game that all ages can play? Well, I do and this Taco vs Burrito is all the right blend of stupid and silly, but not childish.

ITEM OF THE WEEK: Hydrating Eye Cream from IT Cosmetics | STAINED COUTURE

My mission to find and fall madly in love with an eye cream has been a roller coaster ride. There have been some good ones over the years. However, most have left me with lackluster results. A couple of months ago, I found a good daytime eye cream. The only thing I needed to find was good nighttime eye cream, which I eventually found in IT Cosmetics’ Confidence in an Eye Cream. Keep reading to see why I love this eye cream for night AND day.

LUST-HAVE LIST: December 2019

Stained Couture’s monthly series, Lust-Have List, features items I’m wanting this month.

LUST-HAVE LIST: December 2019 | STAINED COUTURE

Hey, December! Ya’ll? Can you believe that 2019 is almost over, as well as the decade?! I’m shook.

My lust-have list for December is usually a Christmas wishlist. However, I’ve been telling everyone that I don’t really want anything for Christmas, because I feel content. It’s a good feeling to feel like you have everything you need, even if you don’t. Still, I was able to find a few things that caught my eye and I may send to couple of people as gift options. *insert devilish grin*

LUST-HAVE LIST: December 2019

  • Bluetooth Earmuffs – For the past couple of years, I’ve been wanting a new pair of earmuffs that don’t look like huge balls of fur on the side of my  head. These earmuffs from Pottery Barn look simply perfect and they also have bluetooth and microphone. So, you can look warm and be discreetly connected.
  • Faux Leather Plus-size Biker Jacket – I’ve been craving a simple and affordable biker jacket. Although I would prefer a real leather biker jacket, this ASOS one looks pretty good for a fake leather one.
  • Fresh Life Body Oil – I’m addicted to body oil, especially in the winter and I prefer to have a few options. I had a whiff of Fresh Beauty’s Life Body Oil recently and I can’t stop thinking about it. It has a light, but fragrant scent that I must have in my life.
  • Nail Art Brush Set – As a hobby, I recently started to do my own nail art in between my nail appointments. Not only does it help to relax me, but it’s been helping my nails stay strong and grow. Since this is just a hobby, this set of nail art brushes is the bare minimum I need and they cost less than $6.
  • Faux Fur Lace-Up Boots – While doing some Black Friday shopping, I spotted these furry lace-up boots at Target and it was love at first sight. They look so good in person – in black and brown. Initially, I wanted the black ones, but the brown ones spoke louder to me. Not buying these boots is my only regret of the weekend. However, I’m hoping to catch them on sale, before the month ends.

LINK-END ROUND-UP: November 22, 2019

Stained Couture’s weekly series, Link-End Round-Up, features interesting reads I read from around the internet this week.

LINK-END ROUND-UP: November 22, 2019 | STAINED COUTURE

Happy Friday, friends! For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been an emotional wreck – full of optimism, and drenched in anxiety. Needless to say, I’ve been all over the place. However, it’s the only way that I can describe 2019 as a whole and it’s been a wild year.

I’ve been so behind these past few months, but I’m ready to get it together. Tomorrow, I plan to plant myself in a local coffee shop and nail down the rest of my posts for the month. Also, *giddy clapping* I have a nail appointment on Sunday, which I’ve looking forward to weeks. I’ve been trying my best to take care of my nails leading up to my appointment.

I love when I get my nails done! Getting a gel manicure with unique designs is my favorite guilty pleasure, despite my wallet hating it. However, it’s so worth it to me, because it makes me feel so good.

Ya’ll. Thanksgiving is next week. That’s so wild, because the rest of this year is about to breeze by. I’m not sure if I’m completely ready for the holidays, but I don’t have a choice at this point. Thankfully, I have a short work week next week, which will probably help me get ready.

Here’s to a great and relaxing weekend, before a hectic ride toward the end of the year.
