Last summer, I scored a cream peplum top covered in gold stars, which is one of my favorite tops. Ever since then, I’ve been obsessed with anything emblazoned with stars. Not to mention, there are a lot of star covered items out there. Starry styles are whimsical, my new favorite print, and I need more. One of the good things about all over prints like this is that you can keep everything else minimal. However, you can also go star crazy and I won’t judge.
Since my only star covered item is a thin peplum top, think I should I should get a warmer item that I can wear in the colder months. I found a lot of cute star covered items and even though I want them all, I cant’. However, if you think a star covered anything should be in your life and closet, keep reading.
One of the first things you are told to never do to your skin is to use a bar soap. The main reason why is because bar soaps made your skin look and feel dry. This can be very true, but only depends on the type of soap you used.
If your interested in trying a bar soap to cleanse your face, check out these suggestions first. Plus, you can use some of these on your body and even hair, too.
Stained Couture’s weekly series, Link-End Round-Up, features interesting reads I read from around the internet this week.
Happy New Year! Hopefully, that will be the last time someone says that you, because someone has wished me a happy new year every day this week. However, I guess I can’t complain, because my new has started off pretty good. As usual, I love fresh starts and a new year is one of the ultimate fresh starts you can have. The beginning of a new year stirs ambition and hope in most of us, because it feels like a clean break and chance to start a new.
Earlier this week, I shared what I’m looking to work on this year. Personally, I gave up resolutions years ago, because they felt like they were made to crash in a fiery glory 2 days later. However, when you want to make “changes” in your life, it doesn’t seem so matter of fact. When you change, it’s usually consists of you evolving over time and without a deadline. Also, when you are evolving and fall off, you feel that you can easily pick yourself and get back on board or start over. So, change is better than resolutions.
In that same post, I touched on my career plans a little bit, but it was more “ranty” than affirming. Eh. Anyway, this year, I want to get back to my roots in digital marketing, writing, and overall content creating for brands and small businesses. Even as a side gig, but I know my brain is missing coming up with new ideas and putting them into fruition. So, that’s something that’s been on my heart and mind, which I will continue to pray on. #PrayersUp
