However, finding the right book for the right persona can be a challenge. So, I’ve created a list of books recently released that may be the thoughtful you have in mind for someone on your list. Happy Friday! Again, sorry for the lack of posts this week. I was in and out of chilly and rainy days earlier this week, which caused me to get a slight head cold. Head colds are the absolute worst. You can’t breathe and you feel like you’re being gently suffocated to death. Well, maybe that’s just me, but I despise it so much. Thankfully, I think I was able to get it before it got unbearable, but it cost be 2 days.

Actually, I had to get that head cold out of here quick, because my calendar is filling up. I recently had a 10 minute conversation with myself while taking a long shower that I was going to step out of my introvert/homebody lifestyle. Instead, I was going to be more present at shindigs, events, and obligations. So far, so good! I went to a local blogger event last night and I have an awards ceremony to go to on Sunday night, which should be fun.

Next week, I’m going to post my first Holiday Gift Guide of 2018. It’s getting real that Christmas is coming and I;m ready for it. Initially, I didn’t think that I would get to in the Christmas spirit, but bring on the jingle bells.

I hope you have a great weekend and stop by next week to read what’s the first guide is going to be about. HINT: there was hint the sentence. 🙂

Hope you had a great week and got to indulge in some Halloween candy. Personally, I’m glad that it’s finally November, because that means it’s go time for me. I’m a procrastinator, but I also work well under pressure. So, I confident that I will get everything I need to do done in time.

I know that we still have Thanksgiving, but I’m pretty sure every store will look like a wintry Christmas wonderland by tomorrow. I mean, I usually detest the presence of Christmas before November 15th, but I’m into it this year. However, one local radio station did start playing Christmas music on Halloween, but listened to a few jingles. Still, that was a little too early.

Although I’m ready to embrace Christmas early, my wallet isn’t going to start until around the 15th. Like I mentioned, I’m putting myself on a strict Christmas shopping budget this year, but I still haven’t decided how much. Before creating the budget, I have to write a list of everyone on my list and then go from there. I might share how I create my Christmas shopping budget – might.

Starting this evening, I have quite a few plans this weekend. Aside from church on Saturday and Sunday morning, I have dinner plans tonight, breakfast plans tomorrow morning, and lunch plans after church on Sunday. I also might be sliding into a function or 2 on Monday. Who am I?!

In the meantime, here’s to an enjoyable weekend and try not to eat too much leftover Halloween candy.

LUST-HAVE LIST: November 2018

Stained Couture’s monthly series, Lust-Have List, features items I’m wanting this month.

LUST-HAVE LIST: November 2018 | STAINED COUTURE

Oh hey, November!

We’re speed racing to the end of 2018, aren’t we! Well, I’m so ready for the holiday season to come! A couple of weeks ago, while noticing some stores sneaking in Christmas items, I was all ready over Christmas. However, now that Halloween is over, I’m all about the holiday gift sets and winter garb. I’M READY!!!

I’ve been very good with my spending and saving the past couple of months. *pats self on back* Hopefully, I will keep this savings train going strong, but I know I’m going to have to fall off a little while Christmas shopping. Unlike most years, I’m giving myself a spending budget by choice – not by case of only having a certain amount to spend. I’m actually looking forward to this challenge.

The November 2018 Lust-Have List features items that I know I will get my money’s worth. Keep reading to see what’s on this months’ Lust-Have List.

LUST-HAVE LIST: November 2018

  • I-Waken Eye Serum – I’m a total skincare junkie and have a product for practically any skincare concern and then some. However, I rarely buy products for my eye area, but I’m changing that with this eye serum from Indie Lee. The reviews I’ve read make me feel like this might be a winner.
  • Jute Die Cut Bucket Bag – I low-key love anything with laser cut details. This bucket bag is simple, but also unique.
  • Oversize Neon V Neck Sweater – I’ve been lusting for an oversize, relaxed fit neon sweater for a couple years and then I stumbled upon this gem from ASOS. Unfortunately, it’s selling out pretty fast and my size was gone. However, I’m praying this gets restocked or find something similar and soon.
  • Steve Madden Reece Sock Bootie – Another stumble thing I stumbled on were beautiful blush sock booties. These would look so cute to break up any all black casual look and many other looks.
  • Round CZ Stud Earrings – You can never have too many “diamond” stud earrings and CZ pair are just as good. A big pair are great to have during the holidays. Trust me!
  • The Complete Ketogenic Diet for Beginners – For the past month, I’ve been trying out keto and it’s been interesting. I haven’t been consistent, but I will in due time. So, this book is right at the top of my Amazon shopping cart. This might be a Christmas gift to myself.

Happy Friday, which is also the last Friday of October 2018. I’m sorry for the lack of posts this week, but truth is I’m tired and I’ve been very busy. Actually, I decided to take today off to play catch-up with some of things that have fallen to the waistside in my life, such as laundry. I seriously have to tackle the overflowing load of laundry in my bedroom before it creeps up and tackles me.

Speaking of creeping up, Halloween is right around the corner and I feel like I haven’t indulged in enough horror movies. However, I binge the Netflix original Haunting of Hill House and it was so good. Definitely worthy of the time I binged it while at working. I might try to watch it again this weekend to spot all the “ghosts” hiding in some scenes. I’m probably going to dedicate Sunday afternoon to watching horror movies.

This weekend, I’m going to begin planning out my holiday shopping guides, which is daunting. As a blogger, this time of year gets hectic with email submissions and packages. So, this weekend is all about sorting everything out. I guess I can do this during my watch-a-thon on Sunday.

Here’s to a great weekend!
